Conversations That Build: How AI Learns to Heal, Teach, Play, and Judge
Date:
Conversations shape how we learn, create, and connect. Today, large language model agents are moving beyond question answering to become collaborators that can heal, teach, play, and even support justice. This talk introduces multi-agent workflows that simulate real-world human interactions, from psychotherapy dialogues to classroom exchanges, collaborative building in Minecraft, and legal reasoning with multiple parties. Across these diverse domains, we examine how conversational AI can build trust, enhance creativity, and provide explainable support in sensitive, high-stakes contexts. By exploring both the promises and limitations of these systems, we highlight what it takes to design agents that are not only intelligent but also trustworthy, transparent, and aligned with human values.
